Pain

many things can't be describes words, i think this is one of it,

"sheng she"or shringles..( 1st I use the word herpes, then many laugh as they only remember the Herpes simplex 1 which is transmited thru sex.. Why?

then i asked,: and herpes infection is cause by what?

Dr:Herpes infection.

I:..???

again I asked,: Why is there Herpes infection on me?

nurse sitting beside the Dr say:herpes itu nama virus, balik pi internet cari..."."@@

uni punya..no choice, just read the article, it say it mostly occur in aging ppl(#$%^)..and wit burning pain, itching, hyperesthesia (oversensitivity), or paresthesia ("pins and needles": tingling, pricking, or numbness).The pain may be mild to extreme in the affected dermatome, with sensations that are often described as stinging, tingling, aching, numbing or throbbing, and can be interspersed with quick stabs of agonizing pain might last for life.. i think i will died d la..T.T

So pls specify, usually people refer the short form "herpes" to Herpes simplex!!! (don't believe me? search the term in YOUTUBE & all the terms like SEX & STD will appear!)

& if its herpes zoster, the more common name for it is SHINGLES... which is the reactivation of varicella-zoster virus in your nerve root & ganglia years after it's primary infection: CHICKEN POX!!!

& be prepaired for a condition called postherpetic pain, which means that it may remain painful for quite some time after the lesion resolved... God bless...

thats is y i said,dr must be clear and not lead the patientin blur.. the Dr. only say herpes infection...i donno the real name until i search the internet,like the nurse told me.. bro, very pain la.. any suggestion other than just zolterol..?

I thk zolterol is just an antiviral, only to kill the virus...
U need painkillers for the pain... try panadol...

Correction again!!! varicella-zoster virus is not herpes simplex virus!!!

people often relate herpes simplex (especially type 2) with sexual transmitted disease.. although it's not always that way... So, most people will laugh at u if u say u r having herpes simplex!!!

Summary of what u r having:
Disease: Shingles (more commonly used term) or herpes zoster.
Virus: Varicella-zoster virus (one of the herpes family)
Mechanism: reactivation of virus from nerve root very long after its primary infection: CHICKEN POX!!!

but at least the pain didn't really burst out by god grace during the performances,


Jonathan Tew Glad we had a blast on An Easter Thingy! now don't to hold on the pain by taking panadol every 2 hours...going back penang for Treatment and if possible attend my sister convo!!Ps: more pil to take by the way..which gonna make me sleepy..@.@

3rd day after infection, gosh, it was burning and terrible pain, luckily most ppl can't spot it from my face.



it was from my shoulder, lower neck,and all over my back.


the medicine given by the doctor, (#$%) 3 times per day!!..

dose for one times...it was like candy, wat colour also got..Faint~~
half of the medicine already in my stomach, still this much to go..

so forgive me for not attending some of the functions, celebration, classes and not answering some of the call on time...like i said, i was "druged"...


pray for me~~ hope it won' t get worst..
Ps: and thanks for all those who concerned and prayed for me..(hope no one scold me for keeping this from them hehe)

    hey....my friend had this and it's really really painful too =/ yikes...hope you get better le...take meds on time k =S
